And An Abudnance of Cultural Activities....

Cultural activities such as Ute language, Ute history, drumming, singing, beading, cradle board  making and traditional dress making are offered throughout the school year. Students and Faculty also participate in a Traditional URHS princess pageant, a Thanksgiving Feast, an annual Education Pow Wow, and  hand game team.

• We also offer sports  to our students including basketball, and cross-country.
  
• Uintah River recently received considerable grants for innovative curricular culturally relevant classroom activities.
  
• Educational field trips included out-of-state and in-state excursions to the Northwest Indian Youth Conference for leadership development, and Sundance Film Festival.
